POLICIES

I appreciate your understanding that appointment times are reserved exclusively for you. Late cancellations and no-shows significantly impact small businesses like mine. By securing a reservation, you agree to the following policies.

Cancellation & Reschedules

Your appointment time is reserved exclusively for you. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment.

Cancellations or rescheduling made less than 48 hours prior to the appointment will incur a charge of 50% of the total service cost. This policy applies to same-day cancellations due to illness or any other circumstance, so please cancel in advance whenever possible.

Booking services and choosing not to proceed with them at the time of the appointment is also subject to the 48-hour cancellation policy.

Illness

If you are feeling unwell, please reschedule your appointment for a time when you are free of illness. Your health and wellness are important, and arriving while sick may compromise the wellbeing of other clients and myself.

If you choose to attend your appointment while ill, I reserve the right to refuse service if I feel uncomfortable proceeding. A mask may be required for the duration of your appointment.

If you decline to wear a mask when requested, services will be refused and the 50% cancellation fee will still apply.

Late Arrivals

Please arrive promptly for your appointment. If you are more than 15 minutes late, I will make every effort to accommodate you; however, I may need to modify the services originally booked or reschedule your appointment.

Payments

I accept payments via cash, check, Zelle, Apple Cash, and Cash App. Credit cards are also accepted; however, a 4% processing fee will be applied to the total service amount.

Service

If you are not fully satisfied with your service, please contact me within seven days of your original appointment. I am happy to provide a complimentary adjustment to ensure your satisfaction.

Please note that refunds are not offered on services.

Kids & Other Guest

Please arrange childcare prior to your appointment, as the studio is not set up to accommodate unsupervised children or additional guests due to space limitations.

If you would like someone to accompany you, you are welcome to bring a guest; however, only individuals receiving services are permitted in the studio workspace. Guests are welcome to wait in the designated waiting area.

Pets

In accordance with regulations established by the California Board of Cosmetology and the California Department of Consumer Affairs, animals are not permitted in the salon at any time, with the exception of certified service animals.

Additionally, the presence of animals in the studio is prohibited under the terms of the lease agreement.

These policies are in place to maintain a calm, respectful studio environment and to ensure the highest quality experience for every guest. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of Wabi Sabi Hair Studio.
